butterflies of the peruvian amazon gallery

All of the butterflies were photographed within the Tambopata National Reserve, Madre de Dios, Peru.  Angela stayed at the Explorer's Inn which is the only eco lodge situated within the reserve.  Due to the bio-diversity of this region (the meeting point of lowland Amazon rainforest with the Andean Foothills & the Pampas Savannah), this reserve has the highest recordings of butterflies than any other location of its size on this planet.
